Hi Sergei! My name is Gus and I'm a huge fan. I'm a black/white/silver borzoi, still hanging onto my puppyhood at 19 months. Call me Peter Pan. My mom and I love your blog -- she volunteers at some shelters and thinks she wants to get me a greyhound "friend" so I watch your posts for potential issues. I do like being King of the House. It's neat to read (okay, I don't read them myself, but I could) your posts, with you in such a warm place. I'm in MA and looking forward to leaves, snow and rubbing my face in dead worms. Love, Gus

Hi, Gus! Greyhounds are "greyt" friends, especially my buddy Captain Jack Sparrow. He's soooo much fun to play with! We don't have a King of the House. We have a Queen - Queen Peaches. She rules with an iron paw...and sharp teeth! Life is picking up around here, so I hope to convince Mom to do a new post for me soon. She actually started one last week, but then she got interrupted. Grrrr. Humans. Can't live with 'em, can't bite 'em! But she does feed me lots of good food and let me sit on her lap, so I guess she's okay. We don't have leaves, snow, or worms here in AZ, so enjoy yours for me! I'll enjoy the swimming pool for you...year round! Yours fluffily, Sergei

Hey Sergei! Happy Groundhog Day! I love to watch for groundhogs! Do you celebrate Groundhog Day? While I do like the snow, I'm rooting for spring to be around the corner so I can be outside more. Longer walks -- my humans are cold weather wimps! Your friend Gus

There were actually *three* tripods here at one point - two greyhounds and a cat. A trio of tripods! Sadly, one of them (Raven) is no longer with us.

Hi, Gus! No groundhogs here I'm afraid, although we do have some very tiny chipmunky things, plus bobcats, coyotes, javelinas, and other interesting desert dwellers. No snow here either. A bit of rain is about all we get. Dad says there's no spring here; our seasons are Early Summer, Mid Summer, Late Summer, and Summer's Coming. Right now, we're in Summer's Coming.
